OS Install - $25
Basic OS Install - If you provide them we can use the original Restore disks that came with the computer or the system disks of your choice. If you don't have OS disks we can use our own discs to install the OS that shipped with your computer. Bundled apps (most notably iLife) that came with your computer are not installed if we use our discs to install the OS.
Data Transfer - $50/half hour
Data transfer from a failing hard drive. If needed, we will attempt a data transfer at no charge. If we determine that we can transfer data from your old hard drive, we charge for the time we spend transferring your data.
Good Drive Data Transfer w/ External Drive Enclosure - $99
This service is for data transfer when upgrading to a larger drive from a good existing hard drive. With today's large hard drives, it takes several hours to transfer data from one hard drive to another. To help control costs we offer a flat rate data transfer service that includes an external hard drive enclosure for your old hard drive.
We take your old hard drive and put it in an external enclosure. We then setup a data transfer from your old drive to your new drive which is remotely monitored from our offices. When the data transfer is complete our remote techs verify everything is working properly. Your old drive (now in an external enclosure) is yours to keep to use for extra storage or as a backup drive.
